FREERIDE PROCAMP 2027: CANADA, JAPAN, NORWAY, LA GRAVE

Four exceptional destinations. One mission: to turn you into a confident, aware and effective freerider.

Who are the Pro Camps for?

If black runs are just a warm-up for you and local resorts are no longer enough — these trips are made for you. However, they are not an ordinary ski holiday. Instead, they are intensive, original training courses in deep powder and demanding terrain. As a result, your off-piste riding will move to a completely different level.

Who leads the Pro Camps? — experienced pro riders, trainers and instructors

Every Pro Camp is led by an experienced freeride pro rider, trainer or instructor — an outstanding practitioner and passionate deep-snow rider. This is someone who has spent thousands of hours on the slopes and in the backcountry around the world. For example, from steep couloirs and Alpine classics to the legendary Japanese forests covered in powder. In addition, the leader holds current instructor or coaching qualifications. Moreover, the leader works with local, licensed guides who are responsible for safety in the terrain.

As a coach and mentor, the leader does not pass on dry theory. Instead, at the camps the focus is on practice, live movement analysis and building absolute confidence in the terrain. First, you will learn how to shift your body weight smoothly in powder. Then you will learn to read the micro-relief of the terrain. Finally, you will choose a descent line that is both spectacular and safe. In addition, the details of each edition are given in the description of the camp.

What will you learn at a Pro Camp?

The programme of each camp is adapted to the specifics of the given region. However, its core always consists of the leader’s original workshops:

✔ Planning the perfect descent line: In other words, you will learn to use the natural shape of the terrain, bumps, snow pillows and obstacles.
✔ Reading the terrain and pro apps: Similarly, you will get to know the tools professionals use to assess slope angle, aspect and snow conditions.
✔ Riding technique in powder and forest (Tree Run): Furthermore, you will refine your edge control as well as agility in tight terrain and deep snow.
✔ Drops and terrain obstacles: Also, you will gain confidence on jumps and terrain breaks (at selected camps including 1 day in a snow park!).
✔ Pro Rider practices and tricks: Finally, you will learn habits from years of extreme riding that save energy and increase safety.
